ASSEMBLY 20/02/17

 ASSEMBLIES

This term, PYP 1 pupils have started taking part
 in the Early Years Assemblies.
Something new and exciting to their routine.
Assemblies take place on Thursdays at 8:05am according to pre set dates in the calendar.
Children from PYP 1 to PYP 4 gather in the hall to find out about what other year groups are learning and also to explore and reflect on attitudes, skills
 and the learner profile.
Their first Assembly was presented by Mrs Caselli, and it was about how reading can be fun and take you to different places in your imagination.
Children really enjoyed it and were excited to take part alongside older year groups.

Beach Fun! 13/02/17

PYP 1 had a great time pretending to be
at the beach!

Pupils in PYP 1 got involved in an imaginative play activity where they role-played going to the beach.
They brought props such as beach balls, floats, flip-flops, sunglasses and caps, and they had a blast!
In this learning engagement, they were able to share their toys, acquire new vocabulary and express their creativity. Thank you parents for sending the props
and supporting our inquiry!
